How to: Link data from PowerPoint to Excel.
Solution:
Copy the PowerPoint data using the 'Copy' command. Switch to Excel and link the data to a workbook using the 'Paste Special...' command.
1) Open the PowerPoint presentation.
2) Select the desired data.
3) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy' to copy the data.
4) Click 'Microsoft Excel' on the taskbar to switch to Excel.
5) Open the desired workbook.
6) Select the appropriate sheet.
7) Select the cell where the linked data should start.
8) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste Special...'. (The Paste Special dialog box appears.)
9) Select the 'Paste Link' radio button.

11) Click 'OK'.
